We are a leading mediation and conflict management provider committed to working in partnership with clients to deliver effective solutions to workplace conflict. We passionately believe that mediated resolutions work better and last longer than management imposed resolutions because everyone involved has a stake and buys into them.
Our distinctive mediation approach fosters mutual respect through improved communication and can mend and preserve frayed working relationships even when the parties are extremely hurt and angry.
While most mediation providers use a “one solution fits all approach”, at Momentum our unique three-stage conflict resolution model is designed to prevent and address the many different conflicts and disputes that arise in the workplace in the most cost effective way.
We empower the parties to work through their differences and leave them better able to work together in the future. Our 3 stages, described below, can be used sequentially or individually depending on the nature of the conflict and how deep rooted it is:
Conflict Prevention: through bespoke training and information in key areas such as effective communication, conflict resolution, assertiveness, holding difficult conversations (See our training programmes below)
Facilitated conversations: facilitated conversations are a flexible tool that can be used to assist with many different kinds of concerns. Like a mediation, a facilitated conversation uses objective, non-judgmental facilitators to help individuals hear and understand each other to move toward resolution. Our Services
Organisational Change
Change in an organisation is unavoidable and when it does occur, it needs to be managed effectively. A big new funding stream can cause sudden expansion or a loss of funding may lead to downsizing. Talks with similar organisations might result in a merger. Whatever the reason we can support you through the process of change from impact assessment to engaging your people; from organisational re-design and communication strategies to implementation.
Bespoke Training
At Momentum we offer a wide variety of training courses to meet the needs of individuals and organisations. All of our training packages are bespoke to address your specific needs and give you the outcomes you desire. We are able to provide training on conflict resolution, effective communication skills, assertiveness training, having difficult conversations, effective performance management, team building skills, resilience in the work place and coping with organisational change. Facilitated Conversations and Mediation
At Momentum we offer a wide range of mediation and facilitated conversation services designed to prevent and resolve conflicts and disputes within the workplace, neighbourhoods and between family members. Whatever the reason for the conflict or cause of the dispute we can support individuals and groups to come together to repair and rebuild key relationships that have broken down.

Our Team
Christine is a team leader for Speech and Language Therapy and has worked within the NHS for 30 years. She is an accredited mediator and trained with the Blackford Centre in 2013 and Smile Mediation in 2014. Christine is also a qualified Neuro linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner.
Andrew is a Chief Executive Officer and has worked within Citizens Advice for 34 years. He is an accredited mediator and trained with Consensio (one of the UK’s leading workplace mediation specialist) in 2013. Andrew is also a workplace coach and trainer.
Christine and Andrew are experts in the field of mediation and communication and are passionate about empowering individuals to resolve conflict and to restore / develop important relationships.
